If you order a product from our store, your credit card statement will say Vetrolaser LLC. If your veterinarian recommended our Class 3B laser, you can buy them on our other website https://www.vetrolaser.com/ Similar price. The main differences between using our Animal Laser 4 (Class 4) laser, and our Class 3B Vetrolaser are dosing and time. Our Animal Laser 4 is more powerful and faster than our Class 3B laser. But you don't want to over-treat, which is less likely to happen with a Class 3B laser. That's why many, but not all veterinarians, will recommend Class 3B lasers to their clients for home use. If you already have one of our class 3B lasers, that may be all you need. A class 3B laser is great for most muscle and joint conditions. But if you have a stubborn case that for some reason did not respond to the the class 3B laser, then it may be worth trying the Animal Laser 4. I use both. It's another great tool in the tool box. Note: Over-treating does not mean tissue damage. I've never seen that happen with any of our lasers. Over-treating means the tissues can only process so much light energy at once. If there is too much, then some of its effectiveness can be lost. This is not a perfect analogy, but it's similar to over-eating and feeling sluggish. The body can only use so much food. The user manuals that come with our lasers cover dosing and frequency of use. Whether you're in the market for a Class 3B or Class 4 laser, we have the highest quality lasers and world class customer service. During the 16 years Vetrolaser LLC has been in business, thousands of our customers reported great results. Lots of testimonials on https://www.vetrolaser.com/
What is the difference between using a multiple wavelength laser and a single wavelength laser? In order words, why use a laser with both red and infrared wavelengths, or just red or infrared?
Short answer: Clinical preference based on the practitioner's experience, or what they read online. About half of the high end laser companies, meaning laser companies who sell prohibitively expensive equipment, support using one wavelength, or at least one wavelength at a time. Their reason for using one wavelength is the practitioner has more control over the dose by using just one wavelength, or one wavelength at a time, and can be more precise. There may some truth to that, but knowing the precise energy dose takes more experience. We sell single wavelength lasers, both red and infrared, on https://www.vetrolaser.com/
A laser that has two wavelengths emitting from the laser head, as does the Animal Laser 4, is more of a "shot-gun" approach to laser treatment. Each wavelength, red, and infrared, has their own "specialty." A bright red laser in the 630-660nm range absorbs quickly into skin, does not penetrate any deeper than the skin, and is the wavelength of choice for treating wounds and other skin issues. The 808nm (infrared) wavelength, does not absorb into the skin as thoroughly as a red laser, but it goes much deeper, which is why this infrared wavelength is used to treat muscles and joints. Bottom line: A dual wavelength laser, like our Animal Laser 4 that has both red and infrared wavelengths, 5 infrared and 10 red, and simplifies your treatment approach but may not be as precise and focused as using single wavelength where you have more control over the dose based on experience. I've had success using both. Our dual wavelength Animal Laser 4 laser and our single wavelength lasers on, will do what lasers are suppose to do--stimulate energy (ATP) production to hasten the healing process plus reduce pain and inflammation. Note: The Animal Laser 4 has two Class 4 power setting, 1300mW and 840mW. It also has one Class 3B power setting (420mW), which is noted on the laser faceplate label.

Dr. Kamen, a licensed human chiropractor since 1981, developed a strong interest in animal chiropractic shortly after opening up his people chiropractic practice in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Note: You may see lasers that look similar to the Animal Laser 4, but check their power and diode specifications. The Animal Laser 4 is 1300mW with 5 infrared 808nm diodes and 10 red 650nm diodes. Similar looking models are likely less than half the power, plus may have LEDs and not real lasers. Ours are real laser diodes.
Through the years, Dr. Kamen helped develop dozens of horse, dog, and cat chiropractic techniques. Dr. Kamen is the author of the best selling books The Well Adjusted Horse, The Well Adjusted Dog, and The Well Adjusted Cat. animalchiropractic.com Starting in 1994, Dr. Kamen took his animal chiropractic seminar on the road, and ultimately conducted over 400 hands-on animal chiropractic technique clinics around the United States, Canada, and Europe, teaching other professionals as well as horse and dog enthusiasts these techniques. During these seminars, Dr. Kamen saw a lot of horse and dog owners bring their early, and very expensive therapeutic lasers to show how well they helped heal horse and dog injuries, such as bowed tendons, bruised stifles, suspensory injuries, wounds, hip pain, wire cuts, and a lot more. These early therapeutic lasers had bulky power supplies, often weighing more than 20 pounds, and costing between $10,000 to $25,000. The cost of these lasers made them inaccessible to the average dog and horse owner, and even for many practitioners. Soon, Dr. Kamen began researching ways to manufacture an affordable and effective therapeutic laser that just about anyone could afford. The response to these new and affordable lasers was, to say the least, very positive. Our lasers are now used by thousands of veterinarians, animal chiropractors, equestrians and pet owners worldwide.
